This was the first time that a comprehensive list of climate research being done on campus was accumulated, and it provided a starting point for the creation of an academic learning community. A group of faculty began meeting to discuss strengthening Emory’s research, teaching, and visibility in the issue of climate change, which led to Climate@Emory officially formed in January 2014.
